Privacy Policy

This is a beta-stage draft for internal testing. It will be reviewed and updated by legal counsel before public release.

FUNS Talk ("the Service") is an end-to-end (E2E) encrypted messenger built on BNB Chain. We collect the minimum information necessary and protect it carefully. This policy explains what information the Service handles and how.

1. Information We Collect

The Service has no account registration. You use it simply by connecting a wallet.

2. How We Use Information

Providing messaging (send/receive) functionality
Sending cryptocurrency to a wallet address you enter — executed directly from your own wallet
Maintaining service stability and diagnosing errors

3. End-to-End Encryption

All 1:1 messages are encrypted on your device before transmission (X25519 key exchange + ChaCha20-Poly1305). Decryption keys exist only on your device and connected wallet. Neither our servers nor operators can access message plaintext.

4. Non-Custodial Design

The Service does not hold your private keys or assets. Wallet connection is performed through an external wallet app (such as FunS Wallet, via the WalletConnect standard), and all signatures and transfers are approved by you directly in your wallet app. The Service is not an exchange and does not provide buying, selling, swapping, or custody of cryptocurrency.

5. Third Parties & Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.
Messages are relayed over a decentralized messaging network (XMTP); only encrypted messages are passed to it.
Blockchain transactions are, by nature, recorded on a public ledger (public wallet addresses and transaction hashes).

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Conversation data is stored primarily on your device.
You can delete local data by disconnecting your wallet in Settings.
Uninstalling the app removes on-device local data.

7. Security

Transport encryption (TLS) and message-level end-to-end encryption are applied.
Authentication tokens are stored in the device's secure storage (Secure Store).

8. Children

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over. It is not directed to anyone under 18.

9. Beta Notice

The Service is currently in internal beta and operates on a test network (BSC testnet). Cryptocurrency handled at this stage is test coin with no real monetary value.

10. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated to reflect service or legal changes. We will announce changes through the app or this page.
